26 gram panchayats in Deulgaon Raja taluka now run by administrators
Sarpanches' terms have ended in 26 gram panchayats of Deulgaon Raja taluka in Buldhana district, with government officials now appointed as administrators.
The Buldhana Zilla Parishad has issued a major order. The term of 26 gram panchayats in Deulgaon Raja taluka has ended, and government officials will now handle the work of these gram panchayats as administrators in place of the sarpanches. The order was issued on September 15, 2026.
A statement issued along with the order gives full details of the administrator appointments in these 26 gram panchayats under the Deulgaon Raja panchayat samiti. It records the name of each gram panchayat, its outgoing sarpanch, the date its term ended, and the official appointed as administrator. Full responsibility for the functioning of these gram panchayats now rests with these appointed administrators.
Officials have been given this responsibility so that the administrative work of local self-government bodies continues without interruption after the current term of the gram panchayats ends. The officials appointed as administrators include extension officers, health supervisors, center heads and supervisors from the Women and Child Development department.
According to the statement, the officials and staff of the Deulgaon Raja panchayat samiti appointed as administrators include Extension Officer (Statistics), Extension Officer (Agriculture), Health Supervisor, Extension Officer (Panchayat), Extension Officer (Education), Center Heads, and supervisors of the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) department. The appointed officials include K. P. Kaluse, S. R. Dabhade, S. S. Jadhav, S. P. Chavan, K. D. Chichole, Kushivarta Jaybhaye, R. G. Tathe, Taramati Mundhe, G. S. Mhaske, B. D. Mante, D. B. Musadwale, V. H. Joshi and S. U. Shingane.
After the administrators are appointed, the day-to-day functioning of these gram panchayats, decisions on development works, and local administrative powers will all be governed by the conditions laid down in the official order. The Buldhana Zilla Parishad order also clearly states that the appointment is to be implemented immediately, meaning the administrators must take charge soon.
The 26 gram panchayats whose term has ended and where administrators have been appointed are Mandapgaon, Donda, Andhera, Palaskhed Zhalta, Baygaon Bu., Giroli Khurd, Jawalkhand, Chicholi Bu., Pimpalgaon Bu., Borkhedi Bawra, Mehunaraja, Umberkhed, Khalyal Gavhan, Savkhed Nagare, Shivani Armal, Nagangaon, Pangri, Aland, Medgaon, Padali Shinde, Takarkhed, Deulgaonmahi, Savkhedbhai, Nimgaonguru, Pipri Andhale and Tuljapur.
