Chinese people mostly use chopsticks to eat, so eating with a spoon can feel a little strange for them. The woman was clearly not used to eating with a spoon either. In the video, when a plate of biryani is placed in front of her, she becomes very happy. But as soon as she picks up the spoons, instead of holding them normally, she holds two spoons upside down and uses them like chopsticks to pick up rice and eat the biryani.
