'Devghar On Rent' trailer promises spirituality, mystery and action

The trailer of the upcoming Marathi film "Devghar On Rent", which blends spirituality, mystery, thrill and action, was launched recently in Mumbai. It offers a glimpse of a mysterious and gripping story, and has raised curiosity about the secret behind the words "devghar" and "rent" in the title.

"Devghar On Rent" will release on September 25, 2026, in Maharashtra as well as in Belgaum, Hyderabad, Indore and Baroda.

The trailer sets a mysterious tone from the start, with intense dialogue, suspicious incidents and conflict between characters building curiosity. It shows a police investigation, the world of crime, and events revolving around a mysterious devghar. The trailer also suggests the film has an emotional side alongside the mystery and thrill, with curiosity building around the spiritual references linked to the devghar and the inexplicable events surrounding it.

The film also gives special attention to action sequences, with the trailer showing chases, fights and confrontations, using South Indian-style action to widen the film's scope.

The cast includes Nikhil Chavan, Ankit Mohan, Bhau Kadam, Shashank Shende, Ashwini Chavare, Vaibhav Chavan, Suresh Vishwakarma, Anil Nagarkar, Siddheshwar Jhadbuke and Gautami Patil. South Indian actors Garuda Ram, known for "KGF", and Shravan Raghavendra will also appear in important roles, bringing together Marathi and South Indian actors in the film.

The film is presented by Anandi Pictures Amravati and produced by Radhakrishna Production, with Sachin Rode Patil and Poonam Chaudhari Patil as producers. It is directed by Swaroop Sawant. The concept is by Poonam Chaudhari Patil, while the story, screenplay and dialogue are written by Sanjay Navgire.

Music for the film has been composed by S. Sagar and Kabir Shakya. Choreography is by Kishor Dalvi, while Chaitanya Salunke has handled the cinematography. The background music is by Rohit Nagbhide.

The action sequences have been handled by Rakesh Patil and Kartik Dangri. Art direction is by Dilip Kandhare, costumes by Apeksha Gandhi Soni and makeup by Sujit Survase. Anunneha Ghodke is the executive producer and Yash Sanas the production manager. Akshay Londhe has handled sync sound, Sharma's team the lighting, and Vijay Mhaske has served as production head.

"Devghar On Rent" will now release before audiences on September 25, and it will be interesting to see how this mix of spirituality, mystery, thrill and action is received.
