Geospatial technology company NeoGeo has raised about $20 million in a Series A round led by Neev II Fund and Aavishkaar Capital, the company said on Tuesday.
Founded in 2019 by Sreeramam GV and Brahmam, the Gurugram-based company supplies mapping and location-intelligence solutions to governments and businesses across urban administration, utilities, infrastructure, natural-resource and disaster management. It collects data through satellite imagery, LiDAR, drones and ground surveys, and uses artificial intelligence to analyse it.
NeoGeo will use the funds for research and development, new products, hiring and expansion in the Middle East and the Americas. The company said it has completed more than 200 projects, mapped over five lakh sq km and manages over 550 satellite-positioning reference stations.
Founder and CEO Sreeramam said the round would help NeoGeo scale its proprietary software platforms overseas and further deepen its capabilities.
