Radio personalities RJ Tejal, RJ Farhan and RJ Shubhi participated in the session and shared insights from their journeys in the radio industry.
The discussion explored opportunities and challenges in radio, the evolving role of an RJ, the emotional bond between radio jockeys and listeners, and the relevance of radio in today’s changing media landscape.
RJ Farhan recalled that his radio journey began with Nagpur Today and expressed gratitude for the opportunity and encouragement he received during his early years. He said the chance to work in Nagpur played an important role in opening his path towards a career in radio.
RJ Tejal highlighted the need to introduce radio as part of the academic curriculum. She said students should be exposed to radio, its functioning and career opportunities from the school or college level.
