Dr. Sanjay Arora Appointed Independent Director on the Board of MMP Industries Limited

Nagpur, — MMP Industries Limited (NSE: MMP), one of India’s leading manufacturers of aluminium powders, foils and conductors/cables, has appointed Dr. Sanjay Arora as an Independent Director on its Board of Directors.

Dr. Arora brings over four decades of brand and marketing experience to the Board. He founded Shells Advertising Inc. in 1987, building it into one of central India’s largest advertising agencies, and in 2009 took it overseas with a full-service branch in Dubai — the first agency from the region to do so. He holds a PhD in Brand Management, Marketing Communication & Consumer Behaviour and an MBA, with modules from IIM Bangalore.

A 14-time TEDx speaker and keynote speaker at the IITs, IIMs, CII, EO and TieCon, his book on marketing by Penguin India ‘Brief Case’ is due for launch on the 21 st Sept 2026 His daily marketing insights reach over a million followers across platforms with more than 25 million monthly views. He is a mentor at IIM Nagpur’s incubation centre INfed and serves on the Boards of Studies of MIT-ADT University, Pune, Tirpude Institute of Management Education and ex-Nagpur University.

The appointment comes as MMP Industries scales beyond its established powders and foils businesses. The Company reported revenue of Rs 824 crore in FY26 and Rs 233 crore in Q1FY27, a 27% year-on-year increase, while expanding into polymer insulators and LT power cables and growing exports across Europe, West and Central Asia, the United States and Latin America.
